Excellent video. One question, is there a protective plastic sticker that has to be removed from the stainless area of the coffeemaker? It appears that it does, but I can't locate how to take the darn thing off. And if it doesn't, then I feel foolish and my stainless is dingy and scuffed before I have even used it. Thanks for your time and reply.

Coffee Dad: My coffee maker did not come with a protective sticker. The steel part is comparable to a stainless steel sink in color. No real scratches. Just brushed stainless.

My "clean" light on this model came on, and stopped making coffee yesterday.. any ideas? I took the filter out, cleaned it, but still won't work...I didn't save the book on how to work it, so I'm not sure what to do... thanks for your help!!!
Coffee Dad:When you say you cleaned it do you meen by hand or the auto clean. Try running the auto clean function. Pull out the charcoal filter. Fill the tank with 1/2 water and 1/2 white vinegar. Press and hold the clean button for three seconds and it should start to flash. It takes an hour to finish and you can't stop it.
